Looking down upon this Earth,
The moon, he sheds a tear.
Watching all his children fight,
Another war appear.
I will send a child to them
To teach them all to live.
Perhaps they will learn to love,
And their hearts to give.
The child becomes a teacher yet,
Though few give any heed.
Within their pride and stubbornness,
Continue, they, to bleed.
And when they realize all they do,
They hiss with fetid breath.
And strike out against this youth,
To put the child to death.
Looking down upon this Earth,
It sadly gives a nod.
Watching all creation fight,
The moon, the eye of God.
