Okay, so I’ve been absent for a few days because we went out of town and I did not have computer access. I’m back, now, though and ready to resume blogging. Today will be something a little different. Instead of me sharing a writing tip today, I’d like to ask a poll question.

This series of questions is for anyone who enjoys writing, either for fun or for a career. Aspiring authors, best-selling authors, goth and emo poets, lovestruck teens, songwriters, screenplay writers, comic book writers, bards, and anyone else of any level who enjoys manipulating words to tell a story or share a message are all welcome to answer. Please feel free to answer any or all of the questions below. This could be a good opportunity to make yourself known to other people who read this blog.

How did you develop a love for writing? What are some of the challenges that you have faced? Have you received support or opposition from your parents, your family, and your friends? Is your favorite style to write the same as your favorite style to read? For fiction, do you focus more on telling a story or sharing a message (even if it is well-hidden in your text)? Do you write everyday? Do you have any published works (feel free to advertise them here, so long as you answer a few other questions as well)? Are you working on any projects now (you can give any level of details that you wish). Do you have any advice to others regarding writing?

That’s all of the questions I’d like to ask, but feel free to share anything else that you think may be relevant to the blog post as well. Again, this post can be a plug for the new book you’ve self published (but please converse with the post, don’t just advertise), or a way to get your name out there as a writer. Have a great day!
